FAQ

What is the role of our Nannies and how do they support your family?

Nannies On A Mission (NOAM) Nannies are inspired by a love for childcare and a commitment to making every child feel safe, valued and happy. They are experienced, professional caregivers (not just babysitters). Our Nannies work for families, foster carers and event organisers to provide in-home, on-site, holiday and hotel-based childcare that truly supports children’s growth, learning and wellbeing. Families and carers choose our Nannies because they bring kindness, consistency and genuine care to every moment.

Unlike babysitters who may simply supervise, our Nannies take an active, responsible role in every child’s life. This includes;

  • Providing structured, safe and nurturing care tailored to each child’s individual needs;

  • Ensuring all required accreditations are rigorously maintained, including First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Working with Children Blue Card and Police Check where needed;

  • Using their experience to respond calmly and confidently to any emergencies;

  • Exercising discretion at all times, whether in homes, hotels or public spaces.

Every Nanny brings not just skill and professionalism, but a true love of caring for children. They notice the little things, celebrate each milestone and make sure every child feels supported, secure and understood.

Our Nannies are always excited to speak with the caregiver to learn about the children, understand their routines and get a sense of what makes them happy and comfortable.

For families visiting a new area, our Nannies are happy to offer suggestions for local activities, attractions, dining options and family-friendly outings. Our goal is to make your experience as smooth, enjoyable and stress-free as possible, and we are always here to support you in any way we can.
